Coming to America
Upon waking up the only thing Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich could think of was his hunger. It wasn't a psychical hunger as 'normal' people understand it. The tendrils that the KGB put into his arms were poisoning him. His memories told him that he should be finding the first living person he could and 'feed' off of it. He knew that was wrong and he shouldn't do it. Looking around he notices that he is in some sort of tube. He forces the door open and site up looking around.
Rossovich notices the flaming wreckage and wonders what happened. He slowly gets to his feet and realizes that he is perfectly fine. He takes stock of the immediate area noting that nothing of value, aside from him and his storage unit(?), survived. His survival training kicked in and he closed the container. He then took off into the wilderness, survival was not an issue in the wild, but against whoever it was that was transporting him it could prove troublesome.
Rossovich took stock of his surroundings once again and headed north into the woods. His hunger was driving him more than anything. He had enough control to steer clear of sounds that sounded human to him. After what seemed like a lifetime he came across a stream. On the bank he saw a black bear fishing. Without hesitation he charged out of the tree line and at the bear. It looked up and roared at him. He didn't care he was hungry and the bear was his meal come hell or high water.
His instincts pulled his arm back and brought it forward in a motion as if he held a whip in his empty hand. When his hand returns to his field of vision he sees one of his tendrils has extended and was speeding towards the huge predator. It wrapped the bear is an unbreakable grip and he instantly starts absorbing it's life force. The bear's struggles slowly lessen and then finally stop all together.
With his abnormal hunger sated Rossovich was able to better get his rational mind to take over his body. He took stock of his surroundings and made the connection that he wasn't in 'Mother Russia' anymore. He had absolutely no idea where on earth he was. A glint in the tree line opposite him caught his eye. He slowly stalks his way over using the foliage he tries his best to obscure his huge frame.
He comes upon an empty cabin. He makes sure it is empty and forces the door open with ease. He finds a TV and turns it on. After a few commercials the local news comes on. He realizes that he somehow made it to America and it was the summer of the year 2010. Had he really been asleep for almost 50 years?
His thoughts were disturbed by a story about the Fantastic Four and their headquarters in New York. He turns off the TV and set down on the bed. It creaked and strained under his massive weight but it held. His mind raced a million miles an hour. As exhaustion started to overtake his body he made a decision. He was not going to be the killer he was 'programmed' to be. He wanted to help people, he wanted to be a hero to the world, not just Russia. Finally sleep overtook him.
